Director of Investor Relations – telling the G&K story

As our Director of Investor Relations, you will be responsible for:
- develop and lead the implementation of a strategic and annual shareholder communication plan, establish objectives and prepare action plans, and oversee website
- take the lead in establishing and maintaining relationships with investors and sell-side analysts
- establish and communicate our disclosure policy to comply with regulations and laws
- manage consultants, direct the design/development of strategies, material and communications, and oversee relationships with outside partners
- plan, coordinate and develop materials for all aspects of communications
- monitor/track activities and develop/implement investor targeting
- direct, coordinate, analyze and support materials development for quarterly earnings release, annual report, etc. for stockholders and investors
- develop and monitor program budgets
- research and analyze business developments, financial performance and external market/industry factors
- oversee administrative aspects of investor relations activities
Qualifications include:
- bachelor’s degree in business (CPA, MBA preferred)
- at least 10 years’ experience in investor relations, financial management, business communications or marketing
- broad understanding of business form the perspective of finance, operations and sales/marketing
- excellent communication skills—effective oral and written communication at all levels and the ability to build/maintain strong relationships with peers
- analytical skills, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, the ability to identify the significant factors (causes, implications and remedies) and find a balance between theoretical and practical solutions
- strong initiative and the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, ensure timely follow-up, organize and prioritize
- PC proficiency—expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access; and proficiency with accounting systems (preferably SAP)
