Jeff Huebschen

Jeff Huebschen

President

Jeff Huebschen is a long-time member of NIRI and the Twin Cities chapter and has served as the chapter’s President since 2016. He joined the chapter’s Board in 2011 and previously served as Treasurer and Vice President of Sponsorships.

Jeff has extensive experience in investor relations, strategic communications, finance, and corporate strategy. Most recently he was Director of Investor Relations for G&K Services, a business services company with a $2 billion enterprise value. During his time at G&K, Jeff built a high-quality investor relations program and helped the company navigate through several critical milestones, contributing to a nearly 400% total shareholder return. Prior to joining G&K Services, Jeff led investor relations for Alliant Techsystems (NYSE: ATK, now a part of Orbital ATK), a Fortune 500 aerospace and defense company.

Before joining Alliant, Jeff was a senior consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s strategy and operations practice. He also served four years as an officer in the U.S. Army. He earned an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and also holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.

Heide Erickson

Heide K. Erickson is the Director of Investor Relations at Capella Education Company—a position she has held since she joined the company in 2005, a year before Capella’s initial public offering. Prior to joining Capella, Erickson was also the lead investor relations professional in a number of high-tech and consumer companies, including Entegris, Inc. and Jostens, Inc. Erickson has extensive investor relations experience including with Initial Public Offerings, merger of equals, leverage buy-outs, acquisitions and proxy contests. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Twin Cities National Investor Relations Institute. Erickson earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Minnesota and a Master of International Business from the University of St. Thomas.

Olga spent eight years as a sell-side equity research analyst covering chemicals at JP Morgan in New York. Olga holds an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business.

Josh Williams is a Vice President and Senior Sales Executive at Ipreo. Mr. Williams is responsible for leading Ipreo’s strategic operations in the Midwest Region, developing and supporting $20+ million in annual subscription-based revenue. Prior to moving to Minnesota and taking over the Midwest Region Josh ran Ipreo’s Global Service Department from their mid-town Manhattan office for nearly ten years. He holds a B.S. in Business Management, History and Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Anton Pshon currently serves as a Director of Investor Relations at the Mosaic Company which he joined in 2012. Prior to that, he held various roles in strategy and finance at Best Buy and Ameriprise. Anton has nearly 10 years of Investor Relations experience. He earned a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Minnesota and has an MBA in finance from the Carlson School of Management. Fun fact: Anton is speaks several languages.

Peggy is the Investor Relations Specialist at Polaris Industries Inc.  She has supported Investor Relations since 2005 and since joining the company in 1997 has supported several key executives including the President & COO, V.P. of Finance & CFO and V.P. of Sales, Service & Marketing.  During her tenure at Polaris, the company has experienced tremendous growth reaching a market cap of $10 billion.  Prior to joining Polaris, Peggy worked at the City of Mound in Planning & Zoning.

Lori A. Lauber is a vice president and sales executive for Shareowner Services. A 24-year veteran of the financial services industry, she is responsible for the strategic development of the Midwest region.

Prior to joining Shareowner Services, Lori worked in a wide variety of Wells Fargo’s divisions, most recently serving as a senior treasury management sales officer in the Specialty Markets Group. Other positions during her tenure include: Foreign Exchange and International sales officer, treasury management product management, Institutional Trust sales officer, and Wholesale Customer Strategies Cross-Sell consultant, where she supported all wholesale business channels in identifying cross-sell opportunities to fit e customer’s unique needs.

Lori earned her Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing from the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Business, and has completed additional graduate work toward a Master of International Management degree.

Lori is involved in the community, serving on various fundraising committees for the Junior League of Minneapolis, Friends of the Minnesota Orchestra, the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, Minnesota Public Radio, Camp Courage, and the Minnesota Zoo. She was a co-chair for the 2007 Make-A-Wish 25th Anniversary Gala, and Chair for the 2013 Harvesting Hope Event benefitting the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery. Lori has previously served on the board for the One Percent Club and Friends of the Minnesota Orchestra. She is currently serving on the Junior League of Minneapolis Sustainer Management Board of Directors.

Jenny Knudson serves as Investor Relations for PolyMet Mining Corp. in St. Paul, Minnesota and joined the Company in July 2012. Ms. Knudson is responsible for overseeing all aspects of investor relations, including efforts with senior management to develop and build a proper valuation for the stock by communicating the Company’s prospects for growth and profitability. Prior to joining PolyMet Mining, Ms. Knudson began her career at Northwestern Mutual in 2005 where she received various securities licenses and earned a position of Client Account Manager by successfully co-creating a wealth management firm in 2010 with her employer. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of St. Thomas.

Tony Riter joined 3M in May of 2017 as Investor Relations Manager. Prior to joining 3M, Tony served as investor relations manager and marketing manager from 2015 to 2017 for St. Jude Medical, now Abbott. Before St. Jude Medical, Tony work at Boston Scientific for over 7 years in investor relations, marketing, strategy and business development. He started his career at 3M working as a researcher and intellectual property manager in 3M’s healthcare business. Tony holds bachelor degrees in Biology and Physiology from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. He also holds the Investor Relations Charter (IRC) credential from the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).

Frank Milano

After a 13-year accounting and finance career at Amoco Corporation, Frank Milano has served numerous management teams in a variety of investor relations, treasury, and business development roles over the course of the past 20 years. His outward-facing finance career has included investor relations (“IR”) roles with such consumer brands as Dell and Select Comfort, as well as business-to-business companies, such as Landmark Graphics (now part of Halliburton) and Belden.

His IR experience includes six merger and acquisition (“M&A”) transactions, beginning with the $3 billion merger between Amoco and Shell in the Permian Basin that formed Altura Energy (now part of Occidental Petroleum). Most recently, Frank helped to successfully complete a $595 million “go-private” M&A transaction at Pike Corporation in December 2014. Frank had previously served Pike’s executive team as an IR consultant and was recruited to re-join the firm in an in-house capacity in August 2011.

Along with an undergraduate degree in accounting, Frank received his MBA in finance from The University of Chicago in 1995.

He has served in a variety of board roles for several chapters of the National Investor Relations Institute (“NIRI”), and was elected chapter president for both the NIRI Austin and NIRI Twin Cities chapters.

Frank and his wife, Gwen, have two children and currently reside in Minneapolis.

Bernadette McCormick

Bernadette McCormick, a native of Thailand, is the Regional Manager of the Minneapolis Business Wire bureau, which covers Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. She has been with the company for 19 years, serving locally to maintain relationships with IR and corporate communications professionals, and nationally, as VP of Strategic Relations.  As a 17-year veteran of NIRI Twin Cities Board of Directors, Bernadette has served in several capacities: as President, VP of Membership, Programs, VP of Marketing, and VP of Sponsorship. Her contribution to the chapter includes the creation and facilitation of “NIRI Twin Cities Large Cap Senior Circle” which provides a private forum each quarter for IROs from local top large cap companies to peer counsel confidentially.

Jack Nielsen joined Cardiovascular Systems in March 2014. He has nearly 20 years of investment and investor-related experience.  Prior to joining Cardiovascular Systems, Jack served as director, investor relations at Xcel Energy from 2007 to 2014. Previously, he was director of finance at Regis Corporation. Jack began his career as a securities analyst, covering a variety of high growth companies for Twin Cities-based investment banks. Nielsen earned a bachelor of science in management from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and an MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas.

Laura C. Gagnon joined Mosaic in April 2011 as Vice President Investor Relations. She is responsible for investment communications with the public, including acting as a liaison to analysts, rating agencies and institutional investors.

Previously Laura had been the Investor Relations Officer of Ameriprise Financial since the company’s spin-off from its former parent in 2005. Prior to joining Ameriprise, Laura spent nine years in finance leadership roles at The St. Paul Companies/Travelers, including serving as vice president of investor relations and corporate development. Laura started her career as a fixed income credit analyst and spent nine years in investment analyst and portfolio manager positions.

Laura received her M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University and holds a CFA designation.

Justin Horstman is the Vice President and Investor Relations Manager at TCF Financial Corporation.  He has worked in Investor Relations since 2006 and previously worked in Marketing at TCF.  A graduate of the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, Horstman holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Studies with an emphasis in Sports Management.
