Dear NIRI Twin Cities Chapter Members,

I am thrilled to take on the role of NIRI Twin Cities 2011-2012 Chapter President and look forward to working with my fellow board members to further strengthen the chapter and build on our tradition of excellence.

As our chapter embarks on the 2011-2012 chapter board year, the board is eager to hear your feedback and comments on improving chapter programming, networking events, speaker opportunities, member communications and resources.

We have an exciting year of programs planned, beginning with Applying Social Media to Investor Relations Strategy in September. These programs are made possible with the support of sponsors who remain an integral part of our NIRI chapter; we continue to seek out opportunities for organizations to highlight their products and services.

NIRI’s goal is to offer members a chance to network with other investor relations professionals, promote ongoing exchanges of ideas, and discuss current trends and issues affecting the world of IR.

The NIRI Twin Cities board strives to incorporate these goals on a local level as well. Our goal is to ensure that we are meeting the specific needs of our local members in terms of networking, mentoring and program topics. This means it is vital that we hear from each and every one of you.
